About Reva
Reva LeNasó spent more than twenty years in college classrooms teaching sociology and criminology, with research centered on deviant behavior, family dynamics, and social inequality. Put more plainly, she spent two decades studying why people cross lines they swore they never would, what families teach their children to ignore, and who gets protected when the truth comes out.
She taught students to read a crime the way a sociologist reads a society: through the pressures that shape a person, the institutions that shield the powerful, and the quiet arrangements that let harm hide in plain sight. Those questions followed her out of the lecture hall and onto the page.
Her fiction lives where those questions turn personal. Her characters are intelligent, guarded, and certain they see clearly. Reva is drawn to the fault lines of the mind: memory that can’t be trusted, loyalty that curdles, and the unsettling possibility that the most convincing story in the room is the one you’re telling yourself.
Mer-Cer is her debut novel and the first book in The Fracture Series. She lives in Ohio, where she is at work on what comes next.
